How to Fit Your Body Armour

For more information, please visit our body armour page.
You will receive your body armour, it will come in a bag in two parts.
These need to be fitted together using the velcro adjustments and once that is complete the jacket should then be set to your measurements and should not need to be adjusted again and you will be able to use the zip to get in and out of it only.
To start the fit, open the velcro shoulders and you take the front part of the velcro and you attach it to the rear. Start approximately one inch down as a starting point this will give you some height. Make sure that the front and the back are aligned and then inside roll that piece of velcro up so it's flat and will be comfortable when you put it on.
Then attach the sides in a similar way. Okay, we can now use the zip to get in and out of the jacket. Put that on like a vest.
If you need to adjust the shoulder area to bring it slightly lower to make sure that the armour is fitting you comfortably across the chest and the waist then unvelcro the shoulders like so... and move that velcro further back to lengthen the body and then make sure that you do exactly the same on the other side so that they're even in their position now that is lower down and more comfortable across the chest.
The velcro patches need to be the same distance away. Okay, you can see that's moved slightly lower on the neck and not sitting more on the chest area there.
Okay, then we need to adjust the sides to bring this in so it can be a good close fit to the bottom on the other side.
Okay and then that should feel like it's comfortably close to your body and you should now be able to use the zip to open it and take it on and off and the velcro adjustment shouldn't need to be moved again.
