Safety Curtains

We are following the guidance of British Shooting organisation who recommend it for .177 we are not giving any advice on the use of the curtains ourselves and the material is not officially tested for any calibre of gun specifically. We are aware people do use the curtains with .22 weapons but if you choose to do so it is your responsibility to test and ensure the safety of your range.

We offer no certified performance for this material for this end use.

A 10m wide curtain weighs approx. 8kg. We would advise curtains to be under 15m in length due to the handling and weight of the material.

All curtains are made to order, we don’t hold stock. We aim to manufacture and dispatch your curtain within 4 weeks from receipt of full order details and subject to payment being received.

The fabric has a coating that looks blue in colour. The whiter/paler side is the fabric face that should be shot at, facing inside the range.

No – we only supply by the full metre, all with a drop of 2.35m.

No – DC only manufacture finished curtains as standard design with eyelet header and hemmed by the full metre width.

The lifespan of the curtain is dependent on the amount of wear and tear from the user. When the curtain is showing signs of damage a replacement should be considered.

Each curtain is supplied in a carry / storage bag. We recommend you store in a cool dry place in the bag when not in use.

DC do not sell any other rifle range equipment. We only sell the backstop curtains. There is some information on equipment supplies on the British Shooting website found here:

https://www.targetsprint.com/page/equipment

We would not recommend the use of other weaponry with the backstop curtain. The use of any other weaponry is at the users own risk.
