We have been supplying the National Prison Service with canine armour since 2021.  They approached us with a request for harnesses and canine armour to suit their bespoke operational needs and we worked together to design the current Hurricane harness with additional features unique to the NPS.  The Specialist Officer Dog Handlers have worked closely with us during the last five years and we have built a strong working relationship together.

The National Prison Service approached us with design requirements to include body armour to give the dogs as much protection as possible without creating any restrictions to its movements. In addition to being able to provide this vital protection, the Hurricane harness also features handles, strobe mounts and leg straps all to their specifications. We are thrilled to see the hurricane harness being used in the operational display at Crufts 2026.
